About me...
I am a Gestalt Psychotherapist and Psychologist based in Barcelona.
I am also a human who feels honoured to witness others in their journey. I believe we have the need as a society in less fixing and more accepting, in less perfectionism and more good-enough, in much less criticism and much more self-compassion.
In my practice, I accompany people to find their inner compassion, acceptance and authenticity through a journey of self-exploration and experimentation. I offer my warmth and supportive attitude to create and maintain a sense of holding. I support people in finding and cultivating their inner capacity to face the hard stuff that are normally swept under the carpet. In doing so, we create much more room for more presence, joy, and connection with others.
I do not serve as an expert or someone with all the answers. I believe in everyone’s expertise in matters relevant to their experience. Within this therapeutic space (and out), we are all equal.
As A Yoga Instructor…
On the other hand, I am trained as a yoga teacher in multiple styles: ashtanga, hatha, yin yoga and vinyasa.
As a teacher, I am teaching yoga more than asanas, more than a physical practice. I am creating a space where my students would feel supported in exploring various movements, and ways of unique self-expression. I am facilitating the connecting of body-and-mind through feeling, sensing and be.
At times, I use yoga as a complement to my other therapeutic work, or as a support to injury recovery and autoimmune conditions.
As a student, yoga is a complementary practice to my therapy. It allows me to manifest my internal exploration to the external. It brings me closer to my body differently than therapy, but equally valuable and necessary. It supports my work of acceptance, self compassion and authenticity providing me the ground where I grow.
